In order to comply with the International Technical Certificates IBS have been entrusted with the Survey of ships and issuance of relevant convention certificates; carry out audits and issue the relevant ISM Code certificates; perform the evaluation and verification of Ship Security Plans, on behalf of the following maritime administrations that have delegated this authority to IBS:
- Panama Maritime Authority (AMP)
- Internacional Merchant Marine Registry of Belice (IMMARBE)
- Maritime Authority of Jamaica (MAJ)
- General Directorate of the Merchant Marine of Honduras Maritime Administration
- The Bolivian International Registry of Ships (RIBB)
